BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), the public sector telecom company in India has declared war against all cheap tablet manufacturing companies. They have decided to launch an Android driven tab in an amazingly low price of Rs. 3250 or $65 USD. BSNL has tied up with Pantel to launch this Penta TPAD IS701R tablet PC. PTAB is driven by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by 1 GHz single core IMAP210 processor and 256 MB RAM. It’s a 7 inch tablet that comes with TFT Resistive touch screen display with resolution support of 800×600 pixels. On board 2 GB storage allows you to store movies, music and images. Micro SD card slot is present in tab too that can house up to 32 GB of memory. VGA camera is there as well. The browser supports Adobe Flash. You can even send or receive Emails quite easily.
